Trajectory of Collaboration
The Sabrina Merage Foundation and Archer Gray have been proud supporters of this influential documentary that traces Ireland's campaign to remove the 8th Amendment - a constitutional ban on abortion. The film shows a country's transformation from a conservative state to a more liberal secular society, including voices from both sides of the debate.
The film follows Ailbhe Smythe, veteran campaigner, and Andrea Horan, self-described glitter activist, as they chart a bold strategy of grassroots activism and engineer the impossible. The 8th had its' debut screening at the Hot Docs Festival 2020, Digital World Premier and then was featured at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival 2020, Digital US Premier. Stay tuned for more!
